Portrait d'une femme ordinaire... is the final part of a dance triptych. Each one portrays a self-taught artist who, playing his or her own role, reveals on stage one's  dreams and fragilities. There is Louis, a former C&A executive who falls in love with dance when retiring, there is Bertrand, a computer engineer, who exposes on stage his body and his femininity, but also embraces life's finitude. Finally, Josiane tells us with humour and delicacy the story of a body and a life in transformation.

Josiane Vincent, performer & artistic collaboration

Josiane Vincent has always been a lover of dance and theatre. She taught English for a long time, specializing in South African literature, and introduced contemporary dance to her students at a vocational high school. As an actress in a troupe, she has performed in cultural venues and EPHAD. In 2019, she joined the set of Je suis venu voir les gens danser autour de moi, the first dance story by the company Seule à plusieurs, at the Théâtre de la Balsamine. Since then, Josiane has been involved in all Seule à plusieurs productions.
