Playwright and artistic advisor for theatre, opera and dance, Youness Anzane was associate dramaturge at the 2012 Festival d'Aix-en-Provence. In 2017, in Luxembourg, he conceived and directed La Voce è mobile, a musical theatre work, premiered at the Kinneksbond in Mamer, and directed Mozart's Cosi fan tutte as part of the Académie Lyrique de l'Abbaye de Neimenster. He has worked with many theatre-makers and choreographers, including Jean Jourdheuil, Victor Gauthier-Martin, Ghislain Roussel, Anne-Elodie Sorlin, Gurshad Shaheman, Thierry Micouin and Tabea Martin. He is also the author of several opera librettos.
Passionate about cultural practices, he founded in 1006 in Paris Naxos Bobine, a centre for artistic exchange and research. Since 2006 he is also involved in Il faut brûler pour briller, a moving platform for international artistic encounters and mobility (eight editions to date).
He is regularly accompanying emerging artists at the invitation of various organizations such as Tanzhaus NRW Düsseldorf, Domaine de Boisbuchet in Charente, Les Rencontres à l'Echelle in Marseille and La Vignette scène conventionnée in Montpellier.

Decolonial walk from Tervuren to Theatre National with François Makanga
A Belgian of Congolese descent, François Makanga studied journalism at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, before turning to theatre. He also worked a guide at the AfricaMuseum in 2018 and at Bozar in 2019.
Bozar, the Centre for Fine Arts’ cultural project, offers a dynamic and diversified cultural programme of concerts and exhibitions: a multidisciplinary approach in which debates, theatre, cinema, literature and other disciplines meet to reflect on the connections between art and society.
