A Nigerian artist based in Toulouse, Emmanuel Ndefo uses his body, to imagine how performance could contribute to wider contemporary conversations. The core of his work is rooted in dance, installation and video. He combines his formal training in dance research with his active practice of traditional and street dances from Africa.
Project: This new performance will explore hair as a symbolic medium, with which to speak about experiences of immigration and belonging in Europe.
